| Description: | We have been in the same location since we opened on December 7, 1987. Eira "Eva" Wiechmann, the owner, was born in Finland where she was introduced to a wide variety of needlework at a very young age. Eva opened the shop so she could share her love of needle arts. We carry a wide variety of products for all types of needlework including basic and luxury yarns for knitting and crocheting; needlepoint canvasses - hand painted as well as traditional European Penelope canvasses; fibers from floss and tapestry wool to silk and metallic; and accessories for knitting, crocheting and needlepoint. We offer regularly scheduled evening classes and periodic day and evening special interest classes. We always provide in-store help for our customers during the day at no charge.
